A development of the Chloroplast Signet, this oval signet ring features submerged 5x4mm oval-cut lapis lazuli gemstones, framed by textured detailing. Prized for its rich, intense blue, lapis lazuli was historically used by Old Master painters as a pigment before the invention of synthetic blue in 1826 and was once worth more by weight than gold. The piece is handmade in London by highly skilled jewellers using solid sterling silver (925), which is certified with full British hallmarking laser engraved on the inside of the ring.
