Nigel Cabourn Cricket Club Leather Jacket from AW1981 collection. The brand started out in 1978 and was originally named Cricket Club, that changed in late 1980s when it changed it's name to Nigel Cabourn. The name came from Cabourn first sporting iconic, famous Cricketer WG Grace. The late 1980s were when the brand began to establish itself as a global brand, Cabourn started using inspiration from all over the world on his travels and this can be seen in his designs. An incredible rare original Cricket Club jacket from it's very early days, these were worn into the ground which is why you see so few of these around now. If you watched a lot of TV in the early 80s, you may recognise this jacket from Auf Wiedersehen Pet, this model pf jacket was worn by OZ played by Jimmy Nail. This is a true Cabourn collectors piece.
